Finish the year in legendary style at the Young Adults Book Club’s Mythology Evening! 🪽📔

From 5:30-6:00pm, settle in with some quiet reading time, then from 6:00pm we’re exploring the world of mythology and modern retellings. From Percy Jackson to Circe, we’ll be chatting about how ancient myths have been reimagined in contemporary fiction and why these stories still captivate us.

Get crafty too! We’ll have bookmark-making and mythology-themed colouring in (think Percy Jackson swords and tridents!).

It’s the perfect end-of-year celebration for our book club community. No set reading list, no pressure – just a mythical evening with other 18–30 year olds. Snacks and fidget toys provided.

Please note: There is no December Book Club session as it falls on Christmas Eve. We’ll be back in the new year!
